NEGES Foundation 1997-2017

NEGES Foundation is a Haitian-American led 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization working in Léogâne, Haiti since 1997.

We work with the community to create systemic changes through disaster relief, women empowerment, education, economic development, capacity building, and health.

History

For two decades the NEGES Foundation has worked in Léogâne, Haiti in disaster relief, education, the environment, women empowerment and economic development. Our 3 acre campus in Dampus, Léogâne (the epicenter of the devastating earthquake in 2010) served as a sanctuary for hundreds of our fellow brothers and sisters. The last victims left the campus in 2016. Today, Mon P’tit Village, our 4.9 acres campus has become the heartbeat of Léogâne with a guesthouse, classrooms, a women’s center, a restaurant, an herb garden, and store.

To provide the community in Leogane, Haiti with a Nest for Educational Growth and Environmental Safety.
